BACK IN TIME | RE-MAKING AN OLD GARMEN FROM HISTORY

Our job was to recreate, with recycled materials, a gown from the era by our choice. 

As far as we can remember we loved Renaissance and Baroque, but for this task we thought it would be best if we can find some other era to be inspired by. It's kinda hard not to get inspired or fall in love with garments that were tailored and made back in those days. 

If not by the look, we are amazed that everything was made by hand.

1400-1500

Middle age

The regency era

This era is also known as Empire period. 

We could go on and on about boring history so if you're not quite sure where to place this beautiful gowns here are a few movies that were filmed by this era Les Miserables, Pride and Prejudice and Becoming Jane
