LIVING ABROAD | CHINESE NEW YEAR
Manchester City held a four-day celebration of a Chinese new year with all of their customs and traditions. And this year is the year of the Monkey.
The city centre was vivid with red colours and signs. In some sections, I could hear the traditional Chinese music. Yesterday, on Sunday, I attended the Dragon parade that was held on Albert Square. It was really impressive. I also saw a group of dancing women that held a sword in their hands and a man that was giving out their candy. The vibe was so special and fun.
If you haven't seen it, make it on your bucket list for next year ;)
Kisses, T.
