OUR CHRISTMAS DAY | BLOGMAS

How did you spend your Christmas Eve? With your family? With your special someone? Friends? We want to know :) 

Let me tell you why... In Tina's family, they have a tradition. Every Christmas Eve they go to mass, for a bit of spiritual guidance. And they usually attend the one that starts at midnight. When it's over they go back home to sleep.

The best day starts on Christmas day. They go to a restaurant where all of their close family members gather. Since it's their tradition they usually eat the same dish like a year before and a year before and so on ;) It's always very merry and loud.

After a few hours, they head to the grandparent's house for some more talk and coffee. How about gifts? Well, their tradition is that the gifts are exchanged when Father Frost is in town, so no gifts from Santa Claus.

For Sabrina is more of a new tradition. It starts early in the morning with a long drive to Ljubljana. They make first stop at BTC City for a lunch and last minute shopping for gifts. Then they gather at boyfriend's sister's house for more of a Christmas snack than dinner. She has two small kids so Christmas Eve for them ends earlier. But before it ends Santa leaves the presents under the Christmas tree and like every year they miss seeing him. And when two little boys take a first glance at the all the presents waiting for them, what it followed was indescribable happiness and shouter.
