PECA

It all started by hiking to Mount St. Ursula (1,699 m). Afterwards a friend suggested we could make a trip to Triglav National Park and concur Slovenian highest mountain Triglav (2,864m). We took his suggestion really seriously so we started planing on hiking to Peca and Raduha for practice, since we only had 1 week to prepare for our venture. I've been to Peca before when I was really young, but I really don't remember that much.

We took the hard path, since there is no easy one to reach the Triglav. And I have to say I really enjoyed it. It wasn't even that difficult nor scary. You can see down below few photos from the path and the amazing view we had. But the most stunning view was waiting for us when we reached the peak. I really can't believe how beautiful our planet looks from up above.

Peca ( 2,126m; Slovene) or Petzen (German) is the highest mountain of the eastern Karawanks, the second-highest mountain of the Northern Karawanks and the most eastern two-thousand-metre mountain of Slovenia.  It is a mighty mountain with a characteristic shape of a tableland with rocky peaks protruding from it. The mountain borders the Meža Valley and the Topla Valley to the south and east, and the Juan Valley to the north, and is separated by the narrow valley of Bela Creek from Hochobir.  (wikipedia)
