MY FAVORITE HAIR MASK FOR HEALTHY HAIR
You maybe do not know this about me, but I can not stand to have the same hair color more than a year. I tend to not make drastic changes like having it blue, pink or purple (not yet ;) ).
After a good year of having balayage hair, I changed it back to blond. I love it so much but I feel that my hair is suffering from all that peroxide. Thank god for Olaplex since it did help protecting my hair while dying it and I even have the aftercare No. 3 to make it even better... But once in a while I like to do a natural mask.
My natural hair is sleek and thin. I usually don't have any volume and recently I had struggled with hair loss. To decrees that, and to feed my hair I use:
- 1 tbs honey
- 1 tbs olive oil
- a few drops of coconut oil
- 1 egg
- 2 tbs sour cream
I normally add castor oil as well, if I have it.
When I spread my homemade mask evenly on my hair, I put a plastic bag or a shower cap on top, to keep it warm. For more heat I put a towel over it so hair can absorb all the ingredients better . Leave it on for at least 30 minutes. I usually go and watch a movie and after it is done I rinse my hair with damped water and shampoo it as usually.
